We're very excited about the release of our new JITL based presentation, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder with Dr. Greenbrier Almond on CD-ROM.  The included presentations are sure to help many people identify and treat the symptoms of PTSD.  

The presentations and their accompanying Courseware were meant to be used on the Windows XP operating system; however older operating systems are also able to run the package.  Usually the user has no problems whatsoever in using the product on an older system, however, since XP is the target OS, the older systems may have some unforeseen difficulties.

During our testing of the newly released PTSD CD, it was discovered that older operating systems such as Windows 2000 and Windows 98 sometimes had difficulty locating the newly installed JITL Player whenever a presentation was launched for the first time from the Course Manager.  The simple fix was to manually navigate to the JITL Player using the “Start Menu -> All Programs -> JITL Courseware” path to find the JITL Player on the user's computer and open it by double-clicking on the program's icon.  The Player will open and ask for the location of the presentation, either on the CD or hard drive.  This message can be ignored and the Player can be immediately shut down.  The user can then return to the Course Manager and select the presentation of their choice by double-clicking on the JITL's icon.  The Course Manager will then know the path to the JITL Player and open up the selected presentation. 

Once this procedure is completed, it doesn't need to be repeated on that computer.  If the JITL Courseware is installed on another computer, it may be necessary to repeat the process for that particular computer. 

We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause some of our customers, but in accord with Microsoft's own policies of discontinuing service and support for older operating systems, we felt it was in the product's best interest to concentrate our efforts on the most popular Window's based operating system in order to meet the needs of our customers.
